Suspended RCCG Pastor Iluyomade floats new ministry in Lagos

Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, a suspended pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) City of David Parish, has launched his own l ministry named “The Family Fellowship” in Lagos.

Recall that Iluyomade’s suspension from the RCCG in June 2024, stemmed from the controversy surrounding his wife, Pastor Siju’s, 60th birthday celebration. The event, which took place shortly after the unfortunate death of prominent church member Herbert Wigwe, faced considerable backlash because of its timing.

The first “The Family Fellowship” service was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, and was characterised by dancing and festivities.
Inviting the community to be part of the fellowship, Iluyomade promised attendees a fulfilling and enriching experience.
Announcing on his Instagram, he said:

“The Family Fellowship cordially invites you. Join us tomorrow at the Civic Centre for a special occasion in the Lord’s presence. It promises to be a wonderful experience.”
